The death of the 59-year-old woman who was discovered with a plastic bag over her head in her Bronx home has been ruled a homicide by asphyxia — and cops are still looking to question her adult son, authorities said.
Teresita Rosario’s daughter called the police to conduct a wellness check Saturday because she hadn’t heard from her for the past two days, police said.
Responding officers found her body around 8:10 p.m. at the bottom of the stairs in the basement of her home on Clinton Avenue in Belmont, cops said.
She also had two USB cords wrapped around her neck, according to police sources.
Her 29-year-old son, who lived in the home, is considered a person of interest in the slaying, according to police sources.
