Dustin Johnson seemed dominant like always & there was nothing to stop him on Sunday during The Northern Trust championship. His passion didn’t even deter as the weather took a toll on the overall scenario.
Johnson managed to play the last two holes even if the light was dimming down post the late storm. He eventually finished with the birdie for 8 below 63, along with an 11-shot calculative victory over his opponent Harris English.
This was his PGA Tour’s 22nd victory & he definitely didn’t make it seem any easier. Johnson managed to win his 5th FedEx Cup event playoffs. He had a tie with Rory Mcllroy but returned as the top-ranked individual at a global level.
Staked at a 5-shot lead atop his opponent Harris English, the man entered the last and final round. Johnson eventually sent his towering iron over the small water pond to the front pin within a span of 5 seconds. The ball managed to settle about 8 feet right next to the eagle pin.
After two holes, Johnson placed his 3rd wood perfectly over the 4th green one to strike that perfect up & down birdie.
