Former Vol Grant Williams did not start and played 29 minutes for Boston.
He totaled six points, four rebounds and one block.
Williams made 1-of-4 field goal attempts and 1-of-4 3-point attempts. He converted 3-of-4 free throw attempts.
The Celtics won the last two games and are attempting to become the first NBA team to overcome a 3-0 deficit in a conference finals series.
Game No. 6 is slated for Saturday at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Tipoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. EDT and TNT will televise the contest.
