The Vegas Golden Knights want to complete their Texas two-step on a very high note.

Vegas enters Game 4 on Thursday just one win away from the Stanley Cup Final, thanks to a commanding 3-0 lead over the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final.

If they can complete the series victory, the Golden Knights will advance to the championship round for the second time in franchise history.

They would also become the eighth franchise in NHL history to log multiple Stanley Cup Final berths within its first six seasons.

Alec Martinez, Phil Kessel, Ivan Barbashev, Mark Stone and Alex Pietrangelo all have at least one point in potential clinching games during the conference finals or semifinals.

If Martinez gets a goal, he could become the third defenseman in NHL history with three goals in potential closeout contests during the round before the Final.

For Dallas, Joe Pavelski, Tyler Seguin and Ryan Suter all have at least 10 career points in potential elimination games.

The Stars will be without their captain on Thursday. Jamie Benn was suspended for two games for a cross-check on Mark Stone in Tuesday’s Game 3, meaning he will have to sit out Game 4 and, if necessary, Game 5.

Only four teams in NHL history have ever come back to win a series after being down 3-0, out of 205, and no team has done so in the round before the Stanley Cup Final.

Vegas is also 2-0 all-time in playoff series when they take a 3-0 series lead.

Thursday’s game starts at 5 p.m. The team’s official watch party will start at 4 p.m. at Mandalay Bay Beach, with fans of all ages welcome.
