Can the Rams pull off another stunner or will Aaron Rodgers avoid the same fate as Russell Wilson?
A week after suffocating the Seahawks in a wild card game, the Rams defense will be put to the test again versus Rodgers and the top-seeded Packers in the NFC Divisional Round. The showdown pits the No. 1 scoring offense in the NFL this season against the No. 1 scoring defense, an intriguing matchup with the likes of Aaron Donald trying to get to Rodgers before he can find Davante Adams, who could have Jalen Ramsey covering him.
There will also be plenty of eyes on the Rams’ quarterback situation. Jared Goff, still recovering from a broken thumb, was named the starter against the Packers after being forced into action against the Seahawks last week when starting quarterback John Wolford exited with a neck injury in the first quarter. Wolford was released from the hospital, but is out for Saturday’s game.
