American Idol Season 21 aired its second round of auditions on February 26 and introduced some amazing talents including Nutsa Buzaladze. While she successfully impressed the judges with her mesmerizing voice, fans feel she is just in the show just for clout. The 26-year-old even bagged the golden ticket to Hollywood. So, why do fans feel so about the American Idol contestant? Keep reading to find out the details!
Nutsa Buzaladze Competed In X Factor Georgia
Nutsa Buzaladze, who hails from Georgia, got three “yeses” from the judges. However, this wasn’t her first appearance on a singing reality show. She is already an established singer who previously competed in shows like The Voice and X Factor Georgia according to Meaww.
Although fans loved her singing, they felt blindsided by the fact that she is already a professional singer. Several even slammed her and accused that she appeared on the show to gain more followers and popularity.
Katy Perry Wants Nutsa Buzaladze To Be More Real
The Georgia native auditioned on American idol by singing Lady Marmalade’s Moulin Rouge version. Plus, the judges were mesmerized by her voice and techniques. The three judges were in agreement that her performance was worthy of sending her to Hollywood. They commented that the singing had some beautiful moments throughout. Lionel Richie even claimed, “You nailed it.”
Luke Bryan even enquired what Nutsa did in Dubai and although he thought she was very flashy, his ultimate answer was yes. He claimed that Nutsa was, “The J-Lo from Georgia.”
Katy Perry added, “You just need to be you, and more real.”
Fans Feel American Idol Is A Resume Builder For Nutsa
While Nutsa has successfully advanced to Hollywood with her star-like performance, fans felt cheated after they found out she is a singing reality show veteran. She is very popular on Instagram as well.
One fan said, “352,000 followers on Instagram. And she already has professional music videos, and awards, and was first runner-up in a Dubai singing competition show. #AmericanIdol is just another gig/resume builder for her.”
“She is a professional and doesn’t need to be in this competition,” claimed another.
A third fan chimed in, “I have a bigger issue that she’s already a professional singer. Looking at her Instagram.”
I have a bigger issue that she’s already a professional singer. Looking at her Instagram ( @nutsabuza ), I’d guess she’s doing this for clout/followers. She doesn’t need #AmericanIdol

“I’d guess she’s doing this for clout/followers. She doesn’t need #american-idol-coverage,” claimed a fourth fan.
Fans were very disappointed and felt that the platform should be available for fresh faces that aren’t already popular. They believe the singer is on the ABC show just to gain more followers and recognition.
