Jared Leto spotted on tour of $8.5M Nolita penthouse

When Oscar-winning actor and musician Jared Leto wasn’t busy posting photos of himself clad in Thirty Seconds to Mars swag in the Big Apple over the weekend, he was focused on house hunting downtown.

Just back from shooting “House of Gucci” in Italy — about the murder of Maurizio Gucci by his ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani —  Leto, 49, spent the weekend touring trophy properties, including this $8.43 million penthouse at 199 Mott St. in Nolita, Gimme Shelter can reveal.

The full-floor penthouse duplex was also on the market as a $30,000-a-month rental pre-pandemic, when Australian model Jasmine Dwyer expressed interest in it.

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber also toured it in 2019, as Gimme reported at the time.

Leto, we hear, is looking for rental digs in the city, where one of his upcoming projects will be an Andy Warhol biopic that he will be starring in. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse is 3,088 square feet and comes with its own private rooftop terrace.

A keyed elevator entrance opens into a large, 50-foot living space, which leads to a windowed library and media room. The smart-wired home also features an open chef’s kitchen.

The eight-story building, which is LEED gold certified, was built in 2015.

The seller is Ratmir Sardarov, who will be taking a hit on the property, since he bought it for $10.79 million in 2015. He first listed it for $11.65 million in 2017.

Jaf Glazer’s firm Conquest Advisors has the listing and was unavailable for comment.
