The last time the two sides locked horns, the Denver Nuggets tied the series against the LA Clippers at a game apiece. After getting swept in the first game, the Nuggets put forth a stunning performance in Game 2 while the Clippers suffered an off night.
It is Game 3, and the Denver-based outfit has that announced Nikola Jokic’s presence is questionable in the next matchup.
Last time, Jokic played a big game of 26 points and also accounted for 18 rebounds. His crucial performance helped the Nuggets make it to a 110-101 win over the Clippers.
Alongside Jokic, Jamal Murray also contributed a major chunk of 27 points that got his team to a respectable position in the series.
For the Clippers, Game 2 proved to be a terrible shooting night, especially from the deep. They could only convert 28.1% of the threes. Following a tremendous postseason, Kawhi Leonard had a rare low-scoring performance with just 13 points. Paul George, being Clippers’ highest scorer of the match, had 22 points but failed to get past his opponents.
Nikola Jokic’s absence can take Clippers a notch higher in Game 3
Now that the series stands even, the Clippers will be charged up to solidify a lead in Game 3. Moreover, the Nuggets are likely to miss Nikola Jokic in this match due to a sprain to his right wrist which may prove to be a huge disadvantage on their end.
He is one of the leading scorers for the team and his absence at such a crucial stage could turn the tables on them.

Clippers’ center Ivica Zubac is a significant man for the team. He scored 15 points and 9 rebounds last time and could be a major contributing factor as the series progresses.
Despite a disappointing loss in the previous match, Paul George is crucial in any and all ways for them. He has retained his form across these Playoffs and will be a significant threat to the Nuggets later on.
The Clippers’ experienced lineup and bench, in addition to the absence of the Nuggets’ frontman, may just be the catalyst behind a major victory in favor of the Los Angeles side.
Let’s see what the Clippers and Nuggets make of this third match.
