LeBron James Overtakes Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar & Tim Duncan to Set a Spectacular All-NBA Record

Ever since entering the league in 2003, LeBron James has been one of the most impactful players in the league. He has won several accolades in his 17-year long career. And even at 35-years of age, King James is unstoppable.

James added another feather to his cap as he clinched a spot on the 2019-20 All-NBA 1st team. Following this accomplishment, James became a 16-time inductee of All-NBA teams, which places him at the top of an elite category which includes many all-time NBA legends.

LBJ passed Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Tim Duncan on the list with his recent selection. This year has been nothing but sensational for the Lakers’ superstar. Heading into the season, many people were skeptical of LeBron, but once again he proved his critics wrong with a phenomenal regular season.

LeBron led the Los Angeles Lakers to the number 1 seed in the stacked Western Conference. The Lakers won 52 games in the regular season behind James’ heroics and are one of the heavy favorites to win it all.

Moreover, James led the league in assists while being a top-3 candidate for the MVP award. Although Giannis might clinch the MVP award, James still has a chance to win his fourth ring and the first ring in a purple and gold jersey.

Can LeBron James win the fourth ring of his career?

Despite being the #1 seed in the Western Conference, the LA Clippers or the Milwaukee Bucks were expected to win it all, heading into the 2020 NBA Playoffs. But the reality is quite the opposite: while the Lakers and LeBron James are preparing for WCF, the Clippers and Bucks have already been sent home.

So far the Lakers overcame the Blazers and Rockets in this playoff run. Surprisingly, many analysts picked the latter teams to defeat the Lakers. But King James proved everyone wrong and finished both series in just five games each.

Lakers will face playoff dark horses Denver Nuggets for a berth in the NBA finals. The Nuggets themselves have had quite a fantastic run in the playoffs so far. They have erased a 3-1 twice this year and could give the Lakers a run for their money.

LeBron James is currently averaging 26.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game in the Playoffs. James has also been a beast on the defensive end, blocking shots left and right in this postseason.

If James keeps this form moving forward, the 17th banner for the Lakers is not looking very far.

Xbox: Titles Users Could Get Hold of Thanks to the Bethesda Acquisition

Microsoft sent the world in a state of frenzy when it announced the acquisition of ZeniMax Media. The deal cost Microsoft an astounding $7.5 billion. This adds a range of renowned franchises under the Xbox game pass that stands as the USP for Microsoft’s next-gen console.

Bethesda, a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media, is the studio behind some of the biggest franchises in gaming. However, the studio has had a mixed bag of fortunes in the last few years. But with Microsoft as support, Bethesda may be able to go back to making drool-worthy titles.

Additionally, Microsoft now owns franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Doom, Wolfenstein, and Dishonored, all of which will be added to the Xbox game pass. The game pass has over fifteen million subscribers, and to cater to their needs is Microsoft’s central idea.

This has shifted the entire debate on console exclusives in Xbox’s favor. This comes as good news for Xbox patrons as they will get access to the following reputed franchises.

The following titles will make their way to Xbox as a part of the acquisition

Elder Scrolls 6 coming for both Xbox and PC

While Bethesda has confirmed Elder Scrolls 6, we are still in the dark about the release date. Fans have the highest of expectations from the upcoming title since Elder V is considered one of the finest RPGs ever.

Bethesda had dropped the teaser trailer at E3 2018 and heaps of rumors have surfaced since then. However, with Elder Scrolls Online doing pretty well and devs preoccupied with other projects, it’ll be a few months at least until we get a formal update.

The title will be exclusive for Xbox and PC, giving the PlayStation a fair share of competition.

Doom Eternal

The game will be added to the game pass on October 1 for consoles. The game released in March for Xbox One and PS4 and is the fifth series in the id Software’s domain. A new-gen version for both Xbox Series X and PS5 is planned as Bethesda promises to honor all its previous agreements.

The game is set a few years after the previous title (2016). Doom Slayer again is at the nucleus of the game.

The immersive gameplay and the campaign design in the game have been highly praised. Moreover, the game’s focus on combat mechanics and soundtracks received world acclaim. But the elaborate way of storytelling has received a lot of criticism.

Xbox game pass subscribers are in for a treat as the game will b available there in a few days.

Dishonored 2

The game is a sequel to the original title that released in 2012. Players can choose between two protagonists, each with unique supernatural abilities. Emily and Corvo Attano have abilities that can also be dropped as the game progresses.

The choice of two protagonists also means that there are different ways of pursuing the same objective and mission. Dishonored 2 got a lot of positive feedback after launch. The game was praised for its gameplay and breathtaking portrayal of stealth and combat, along with the design of the quests and objectives.

Bethesda as a studio has long been criticized for elaborate methods of storytelling, often labeled monotonous. However, Dishonoured 2 only impressed and was awarded Best Action/Adventure Game at the Game Awards in 2016.

So, it will definitely lure more players to a game pass subscription whenever it is added to the list.

Fallout 76

Fallout 76 is the first multiplayer game in the series and gives the players the freedom to explore the open world. The game is set in the year 2102, almost twenty-five years after the nuclear war that destroyed the entire civilization.

As good as the visuals are, the campaign of the game has been called purposeless. But the gameplay and its features make it a must-play, and hopefully, the Xbox game pass subscribers will be able to get their hands on the title in no time.

Bethesda hasn’t been as successful recently as it was a few years back. But Microsoft will enable its devs to spend more time creating titles that promise to be bigger and better.

The Xbox game pass, along with the new titles, definitely sounds like a treat for the Xbox users. It also is a way of luring new players into building a relationship with the Xbox ecosystem. Only time will tell how this deal pans out for Microsoft. Stay tuned for more updates!

Dana White Comments on Jon Jones Fighting the Winner of Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa

UFC 253 will witness the crowning of a new light heavyweight kingpin. Meanwhile, the former champion Jon Jones has been keeping a relatively low profile as he continues his self-imposed hiatus. Most of the speculations around Jones’ return have been centered around the heavyweight division. However, Dana White believes that Jones could even end up fighting Israel Adesanya.

Jon Jones vacated his belt earlier this year amidst failed negotiations with the UFC. When Jones took a break from competition, people expected him to bulk up and return at heavyweight. Dana White reminded everyone that Jones is yet to make a move. He added that it is equally likely that he ends up evaluating his options after UFC 253.

“Jon hasn’t moved up to heavyweight yet. We don’t know what Jon’s gonna do,” White said while talking to TMZ Sports.

“If you’re Jon Jones right now, you probably sit back and watch what happens this weekend, see who wins, how they win, and maybe make them defend the title and then you come back and try to regain it.”

Jones last competed in the octagon against Dominick Reyes. He won the closely contested fight, which could have gone any other way. Reyes will step inside the cage to capture the belt that eluded him the last time around. He will face Jan Blachowicz in the co-main event of UFC 253.

Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya have had plenty of back and forth between them

The middleweight kingpin Israel Adesanya has had a beef with Jon Jones. He had claimed that he would even chase ‘Bones’ to heavyweight. However, in an interview with ESPN before the Reyes fight, Jones boasted that he was simply better than the Kiwi in all aspects of the game.

The two even had a back and forth on Twitter after Adesanya defeated Romero. Therefore, a fight between the two is something that Dana White will have no issue in promoting.

“Or you move up to heavyweight. Or if Adesanya wins this weekend, you fight Adesanya, I don’t know. Jon Jones is in a really good position right now,” White added.

At this point, it seems as though Jones has his eyes fixed on the heavyweight division. He is often talking about the same via his social media. However, the equation can change with how the last two fights at UFC 253 plan out.
