Le'Veon Bell injury update: Jets place RB on IR for hamstring issue

The New York Jets placed running back Le’Veon Bell on injured reserve Tuesday because of a hamstring problem he picked up during Week 1 action.

Bell, a two-time first-team All-Pro, is eligible to return in three weeks.

He recorded just 14 yards on six carries in a 27-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Jets’ season opener.

Rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims (hamstring) and linebacker Blake Cashman (groin) have also been placed on IR.

The Jets signed running back Kalen Ballage in a corresponding transaction, though Frank Gore is likely to get the bulk of the workload in the coming weeks.

Gore and the Jets face his former team, the San Francisco 49ers, on Sunday in their home opener at MetLife Stadium.

Valorant How-To: A Simple Guide to Good Aiming

Valorant is one of the most popular competitive tactical FPS titles out there. It is one of the few titles that can boast about balanced arsenal, abilities, and agents. With the Valorant How-To segment, we bring to you some pretty easy and basic tricks, tips, and tactics to help you get you better at the game.

In the last installment, we talked about some simple strategies to employ in the game. Here, we will cover several ways to improve your aim.

Now, aiming and mouse control develops over time and with practice. We hate to break it to you, but it is the only thing that can help you truly develop. As for Valorant, you can try out their practice range, although we suggest using third-party aim labs.

Aim labs are simple to use, and both beginners and pros can use them. They simulate various shootout situations and offer a variety of levels and types of training.

Valorant How-To: control, flick, and track

Learning how to control your mouse is very important. Make it a point to always keep your aim moving so that you avoid any blind spots during movement. And always watch your 6.

Moreover, keeping your aim mobile keeps you prepared to shoot quickly in case of a surprise from the opponent. Set your aim sensitivity precisely by employing multiple trials and then settling on the most suitable one.

Once you have set a suitable aim sensitivity, and have practiced your aim substantially, it’s time to employ the following methods: flick, and track. The word “tracking” is pretty self-explanatory. It means to briefly keep your crosshair glued on a moving enemy for a while before taking a shot.

A “flick” is a more advanced tactic and takes longer to master. Not to mention it depends on luck too at times. A flick, as the name explains, is when you swiftly move your aim on an opponent and immediately take your shot. All this needs to be done extremely fast, and we suggest not losing heart if you don’t manage to get it correct right away. It does require a good deal of practice.

Technical tips to help you aim better

Here are some technical trips exclusive to Valorant that can help you manage more accurate shots:

  • Try to avoid using ADS. You can customize your crosshair to your ease in order to make this easier. Use ADS when the opponent is at a distance (obviously), or unless you cannot manage without it.
  • As for weapons, avoid Vandal if you are not confident about your aim just yet. Although a marksman rifle, the Vandal has quite a substantial recoil. If you prefer your fights from a range, use a sniper instead.
  • In lieu of the previous point, you can never go wrong with Phantom. It has already earned a name for it as a pretty balanced AR, and you have better chances of winning a fight if you use this.

Well, that is all for now, folks! Keep an eye on this space for further Valorant tips and tricks.

What channel is Dolphins vs. Jaguars on today? Schedule, time for 'Thursday Night Football' in Week 3

A pair of social media’s favorite quarterbacks meet in the third “Thursday Night Football” game of the season, as Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Miami Dolphins head to Jacksonville to face Gardner Minshew and the Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field.

Two weeks ago many had the first pick in the 2021 NFL Draft signed, sealed and delivered to Jacksonville. Instead, the Jaguars (1-1) have gone out and shocked Indianapolis in Week 1 and lost a squeaker in Week 2 to Tennessee. Minshew has thrown for six touchdowns and ranks third in the league in completion percentage above expectation. Even the run defense has held its own, limiting Derrick Henry to just 84 yards on 25 carries and holding the Colts to 88 rushing yards in Week 1.

The Dolphins may be 0-2, but both of their losses have been competitive and to two AFC contenders in New England and Buffalo. The clock has started on just how many games Fitzpatrick has left as the starter before he is inevitably replaced by Tua Tagovailoa, especially given the success of fellow 2020 draft-class quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert. Whoever the quarterback is has a weapon in tight end Mike Gesicki who ranks first among tight ends with 160 receiving yards and is tied for third with 11 receptions.

Below is everything you need to know about how to watch Thursday night’s game in Jacksonville, plus a look at the complete Week 3 NFL schedule.

What channel is Dolphins vs. Jaguars on today?

  • Game: Dolphins at Jaguars
  • Date: Thursday, Sept. 24
  • TV channel: NFL Network
  • Live stream: fuboTV | DAZN (in Canada)

Through the first four weeks NFL Network is the exclusive TV home of “Thursday Night Football” and the only channel that will show Dolphins vs. Jaguars.

Beginning in Week 5, all “Thursday Night Football” games will broadcast live on cable network Fox in addition to NFL Network. These games will also be available for streaming on Amazon Prime at no additional charge to Prime members.

NFL Network is available via most cable providers in the United States. It also is available via satellite provider DirecTV (channels 212 and 1212) and IPTV providers Verizon FiOS (channels 88 and 588) and Google Fiber (channel 2019).

What time is the Dolphins vs. Jaguars game?

  • Date: Thursday, Sept. 24
  • Kickoff time: 8:20 p.m. ET

All Thursday night games throughout the 2020 NFL season will start at 8:20 p.m. ET, though the TV viewing options (more on those below) will change in a few weeks.

Dolphins and Jaguars fans should savor the moment on Thursday, as this is the lone opportunity for those fan bases to watch their teams in prime time. They join Detroit and Carolina as the only team with one primetime game. Washington is the only franchise without a primetime matchup this season.

NFL live stream for Dolphins vs. Jaguars

Because Thursday night’s game in Jacksonville will be shown exclusively by NFL Network, the live stream options are limited. More will become available for “Thursday Night Football” in Week 5, when the games will start being simulcast on Fox and Amazon.

Below are all of the live streaming options for “Thursday Night Football” in 2020.
