The college football transfer portal closed April 30, but players already in the portal still have time to make decisions. Summer workouts start across the country in early June, but the NCAA has no hard deadline on when players must make their commitments.
As a result, several players in the portal have announced their transfer destinations over the last week. The group includes four of the top 200 overall prospects in the 247Sports Transfer Portal Rankings, headlined by the No. 3 wide receiver in the 2023 transfer class.
Some of the programs to land a notable transfer commitment this week include Arizona, Auburn, Louisville, Ole Miss and SMU, among others.
