Phillies vs. Cubs prediction: Philadelphia will snap skid

Word this week that in the year 1555, Nostradamus wrote, “Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 22, at the age of around 96.”

No word on who Nostradamus likes in the Phillies-Cubs game Thursday, but NostraStitches will give it a try.

Someone should tell the Phillies they are still in the wild-card mix.

They have lost four straight games heading into Thursday. Ranger Suarez comes off back-to-back beauties, allowing one run over 12 innings to the Braves. Suarez hasn’t lost since June, going 4-0 in the 12 games.

Betting on Baseball?

The Cubs counter with Javier Assad. The rookie has made six starts and has allowed seven runs over his last six innings.

Eduardo Escobar!

The Mets were down 4-0, but Escobar homered, had five RBIs and the Amazin’s filleted the Fish 5-4. Winner. Up +1,484 mookiewilsons.
