Raquel Welch, the Golden-Globe winning actress who featured in films including “Fantastic Voyage” and “Bedazzled,” died on Feb. 15, 2023, following a brief illness. She was 82 years old.
Thanks in large part to the iconic deerskin bikini she wore in 1966’s “One Million Years B.C.,” Welch became an international sex symbol who went on to sport equally skimpy styles in other screen projects; who could forget her star-spangled swimsuit in “Myra Breckinridge” or her orange two-piece from “The Biggest Bundle of Them All?”
Beyond bathing suits, however, the brunette bombshell left her mark on the worlds of fashion and film in other ways. Ahead, some of our favorite looks of Welch’s through the years, from disco-worthy dresses to psychedelic prints.
