Selena Gomez is getting massive support from an unlikely source. Clueless boyfriends and husbands are rushing to defend the most-followed woman on Instagram. This comes amid her ongoing feud with Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner. Keep on reading to learn more.

Selena Gomez is the most-followed woman on Instagram

As of Thursday, February 23, Selena Gomez is the most-followed woman on Instagram. At the time of this writing, she has 392 million followers on the social media app. Selena beat out Kylie Jenner, who has 380 million followers. Kylie quickly lost those followers after she was accused of shading the former Disney star.

Selena Gomez quickly built up the fanbase after she shared a sexy photo of herself drinking a cocktail. In the photo, the Only Murders in the Building star wears a black strapless dress. “I deleted this one time because it was too much but eh,” Selena Gomez casually wrote in the caption.

She nearly busted out of the tight black strapless dress. The dark-haired stunner wore her hair in a messy ponytail. Selena pulled at her hair as she enjoyed her drink in a restaurant. She previously shared these sultry photos before.

That post alone received over 19 million likes. In the caption, she also revealed that she was “taking a break from social media.” Selena returned to social media three days later. That’s when she found out that she was the most-followed woman on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Kylie and Hailey lost nearly 800k followers on their respective Instagram accounts. Selena Gomez started personally posting on social media in January. Four years ago, she deleted Instagram and gave her phone to a member of her team. She struggled with mental health and an unhealthy relationship with social media.

“At one point Instagram became my whole world, and it was really dangerous. In my early 20s, I felt like I wasn’t pretty enough,” Selena Gomez told InStyle. “There was a whole period in my life when I thought I needed makeup and never wanted to be seen without it.”

What brought her back was that infamous TikTok video in which she showed off her laminated eyebrows. Selena also shared that she wished she was as pretty as Bella Hadid. Kylie and Hailey were accused of “bullying” her. Kylie shared a closeup of her brows and a FaceTime conversation with Hailey that focused on their eye area.

Clueless men follow former Disney star

Earlier this week, Selena Gomez shared a clip of herself using Rare Beauty. She appeared fresh-faced and make-up free. Selena wore a white shirt with gold hoops. The Hollywood star applied her makeup.

When she was all glammed up, she revealed that she had a “hot date with some Ramen noodles and a good movie.” In her caption, Selena Gomez wrote: “get ready with me to do…absolutely nothing. 🤪” Clueless boyfriends and husbands rushed to the comment section to defend her amid her feud.

One user wrote: “My wife told me to follow you.” A second echoed that his girlfriend told him to do the same. Another commented: “I will get my girlfriend to follow if she doesn’t already.” You can’t deny the power that Selena Gomez has on her fanbase. They’re encouraging their partners to follow her on Instagram.
