Want to copy Sydney Sweeney’s swimsuit style? Get ready to have never, ever been happier.
The “Euphoria” star is teaming up with celebrity-loved label Frankies Bikinis on a swimwear collection inspired by Italian summer romance, a line the brand billed in a press release as its “sexiest ever.”
Sweeney’s collection launches March 14 at 12 p.m. ET, followed by a second drop in April.
“I grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini,” Sweeney told Elle of why she decided to dive into swimwear, adding that she “wanted to create something that truly felt like me.”
The collaboration comes a year after the brand’s Gemma One-Piece racked up a 500-person waitlist in the 24 hours after Sweeney wore it in an episode of the HBO show.
And while the strappy style may not have helped her character, Cassie, woo Jacob Elordi’s Nate, it did catch the eye of Frankies Bikinis founder and creative director Francesca Aiello.
“I immediately envisioned a collaboration for Sydney to create pieces that truly embody her gorgeous femininity, her bombshell romantic aura, not to mention her numerous talents,” she said in a press release of the actress, who’s also no stranger to show-stopping swimwear moments offscreen.
The upcoming collaboration promises to be just as head-turning as Sweeney’s viral suit, as the campaign sees the star posing in Italy wearing everything from an embroidered triangle top to a lacy black bikini.
The full selection of styles — available in sizes XS to XXL — will also feature personal design touches, including a kiss print quite literally straight from Sweeney’s lips.
“I was coating on different shades of red lipstick and kissing paper and sending pics to Francesca,” Sweeney told Elle of making the distinct design.
“And it was this funny back and forth about how much my lips should be parted or [how much] color [I should apply], so my bathroom became covered with pages of my lipstick marks.”
In addition to the Rome and romance inspirations, however, Sweeney also told Elle she thinks “it’s powerful to show the world you are unapologetically yourself.”
“We wanted pieces that made people feel confident and free in their bodies,” she added.
