Oliver Martin left Vermont when he was 14 to pursue his dream – now he’s back
Vermont Green FC returns in 2023 for another season of soccer, after a successful inaugural season that included a playoff win. While the team drummed up plenty of interest on social media, they didn’t have the club’s first signing for almost the entire summer.Williston native Oliver Martin made history as the first player to commit to compete with Vermont Green FC, but injury cut his run short. After just a week, he traveled to the University of Michigan for his freshman season.Now, he’s back and ready for redemption. Martin stars alongside some of the best NCAA men’s soccer players in the country.
