‘You better f–king not leave’

The Grammys 2023 ceremony was something of a “take your husband to work day” situation, according to Ben Affleck.

The actor-director has finally responded to the viral Grammys moment when cameras caught him and his newlywed wife, Jennifer Lopez, appearing to get into a tiff.

Affleck, 50, recalls the incident as a typical “husband-and-wife thing,” despite spawning a barrage of memes.

“I saw [Grammy host Trevor Noah approach] and I was like, ‘Oh, God,’ they were framing us in this shot, but I didn’t know they were rolling,” the two-time Oscar winner told the Hollywood Reporter. “I leaned into her and I was like, ‘As soon they start rolling, I’m going to slide away from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor.’ “

“You better f–king not leave,” warned Lopez in response, according to her hubby.

Affleck was trying to leave the show early until Lopez shut him down.
